Partner Universities
UNC Charlotte
In spring 2009 the cooperation with UNC Charlotte started. Connected through their professors Prof. Dr. Klaudia Schultheis (Eichstätt) and Prof. Leigh Ausband, PhD (Charlotte) students of the College of Education (UNC) and students trained to be teachers for elementary school started an IPC project together with other partners. In several study trips to Charlotte German students had the opportunity to meet their partners at UNCC. In fall 2012 Prof. Stephen Hancock, PhD, of UNCC, College of Education, will participate with his master students.
La Immaculada
The cooperation with the Escuela Universitaria de Magisterio "La Immaculada" was initiated by Prof. Dr. Klaudia Schultheis and Dr. Isabel Rodriguez in spring 2009. During the winter term 2009/2010, Spanish teacher students participated for the first time in the international project.
University St.Kliment Ochridski of Sofia
This contact fixed by Prof. Dr. Klaudia Schultheis, Prof. Dr. Jean-Pol Martin and Dr. Iliana Mirtschewa is a key point to the IPC project. An erasmus-student-exchange is strengthening this cross-cultural connection.
Nagasaki Junshin Catholic University
In the winter term 2010/2011 Prof. Dr. Chizuko Suzuki and her students from
Nagasaki Junshin Catholic University joined the IPC project. We are happy tp welcome our partners from Asia. Insights in the educational system of Japan are an enrichment for our project!
University of Lomé
The 2009 summer IPC project started with a new cooperation partner: the Université de Lomé in Togo. The German tutor in Eichstätt Miriam Falke used the contacts she made in her exchange semester to get this connection. The students in Togo got financial support to get connected to the Internet by the Eichstaett team. We hope to continue the partnership sometime!
University Augsburg
Since 2004 there has been cooperation with the University of Augsburg. In summer 2009 attendants of a course called "Cultural Identity" were participating in the IPC project, led by their teacher Eva Sondershaus, M.A.
PH Ludwigsburg - University of Education
Prof. Dr. Gabriele Strobel-Eisele (PH Ludwigsburg) participated in the IPC project for the first time in fall 2009. Together with students from Greece she is working towards the international and cross-cultural focus of this course.
